The 17th and 18th of June saw the bi-annual joint school overnight residential trip to Camas.
The trip started with a minibus journey down to Camas where the children spent 2 days with Mrs Grierson and Mrs Nicholson taking part in various fun outdoor activities. The day started with a hike across rough moorland, encountering boggy patches, heading towards Market Bay where they were rewarded with beach play and Hot Chocolate!
Other activities inlcuded forest games and outdoor swimming!
There was a focus on being together, sharing dorms, helping with meals and completing chores. The chores included doing the dishes, jobs in the garden like watering the plants, tidying the common room and – the favourite chore – feeding the cat!
For some of the children, this was a first overnight trip away from home, and they were so supportive and caring towards each other. A great time was had by all!
